Volunteer program

Faith and Hope’s volunteer program is very unique and special to our hearts. Our program is designed and lead by a surviving daughter of a patient we all love and cared for, Raquel Rivera, a Volunteer Coordinator here at Faith and Hope Hospice and a very special human being. Raquel found her calling in hospice after the loss of her very brave and loving mom, Mrs. Rivera, Mercedes. Meeting Raquel during our “light the night” ceremony, hearing her words of appreciation and receiving her strong, thankful hug for the care we provided for her mom is one of many things why hospice is of great importance to me, Inesa Antonyan, COO Faith and Hope Hospice Care, Inc. Today, Raquel has joined our compassionate team of professionals as our volunteer coordinator, and leads a team of volunteers delivering a program that will go above and beyond to meet the needs of our patients and their loved ones. Faith and Hope can not find the words that will describe how thankful we are to Mrs. Rivera for bringing Raquel, her daughter, into our lives. Raquel, I am very sorry that you lost your dear mama, but I can’t help but to say how happy I am to have someone like you as a Volunteer Coordinator supporting our patients and their families. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
